The Reich cabinet approves the Reichswehr invasion of the industrial areas of the Ruhr Valley. On 3 April the Reich government officially reveals that the Reichswehr has been given “complete freedom of action to do whatever the situation demands” in order to de-escalate the state of affairs in the Ruhr Valley.
