Gustav Stresemann signs the Briand-Kellogg Pact. The treaty, which was initiated by France and then further developed by American Foreign Minister Frank Billings Kellogg, outlaws wars of aggression as policy instruments. Other countries sign the pact in addition to Germany, such as the US, Great Britain, and France.
