Reichskanzler Franz von Papen calls on Hindenburg to dissolve his cabinet. The reason for the government’s demission are the failed exploratory talks with various parties in the Reichstag. Hindenburg accepts Papen’s resignation offer on the very same day. The Papen government continues its activities despite its demission.
