In Essen a large memorial service takes place to honor the victims of the occupation of the Ruhr. The event is attended by Reichskanzler Stresemann, Reichspräsident Ebert.

The Allies lift the broadcasting ban, enabling individuals to receive radio signals. Shortly thereafter, the broadcasting sector forms an association and the radio program magazine “Radio” is published for the first time.
