Center Party politician Marx is appointed to lead a government for the fourth time. With the formation of the new “Bürgerblock” government, comprising politicians from the DNVP, the DVP, the BVP, the Center Party and the DDP, the DNVP’s hopes for a share in government (which induced it to vote against the government in the motion of no confidence in December 1926) are fulfilled.
