Participation in the referendum on the expropriation of the former German princes does not reach the required absolute majority of eligible voters. Just 15.6 million people, 39.3% of eligible voters, cast their vote. All the same, of these votes there were 14.5 million in favor of the expropriation of the princes without compensation.
