At the invitation of State Secretary Hans Bredrow, television pioneer John Logie Baird from Scotland airs images in the Vox-Haus for the first time. Although the experimental transmissions are stopped shortly thereafter, they are resumed one year later by Manfred von Ardenne.

The Reich government appoints President of the Reichsbank Hjalmar Schacht and businessman Albert Vögler as Germany’s experts to sit on the committee in charge of settling the reparations issue in Paris.
