John Heartfield creates his first photomontage on contemporary events entitled “After Ten Years - Fathers and Sons 1924”. Heartfield’s work is exhibited in the Malik bookshop in Berlin.

The Dawes Plan is adopted by a large majority in the Reichstag. Surprisingly, half of the DNVP group also votes in favor of accepting the Dawes Plan, likely due to pressure from various agricultural and industrial groups.
