The government crisis that has been ongoing for weeks is settled by the Center Party rejoining the government. Theodor Guérard is appointed Minister of Justice, Adam Stegerwald becomes Transport Minister, and Joseph Wirth takes on the post of Minister for the Occupied Territories.

The head of the German delegation, Hjalmar Schacht, presents a memorandum to the committee of experts in Paris that states that the precondition for further reparations obligations is the return of the “Polish corridor” and Germany’s former colonies. The negotiations are consequently suspended and the German delegation travels to Berlin to report back to the government.
