November 1922
14 - 22 November
As the SPD Reichstag group refuses to accept an enlargement of the Weimar Coalition to a “Grand Coalition” including the DVP, the SPD leaves the government, thereby forming the opposition. Consequently, a new right-wing bourgeois cabinet is formed (consisting of DDP, DVP, and Center Party members) led by Hapag Director Wilhelm Cuno.
