The German government issues a statement on the demands of the Paris accords, which it believes cannot be met. The Reichstag and the Landtags of many German states protest against the “Paris Diktat”.

Repeat Reichstag elections are held in Schleswig-Holstein and East Prussia. This leads to changes in the distribution of seats. The SPD and the DDP each lose 5 mandates, whilst the DNVP receives 4 additional mandates, the DVP 3, the USPD and KPD 2 each and the Center Party 1.
